Has anybody here had any experience of moving straight onto certificate level Chartered or onto Certified without going onto Level 4 AAT?
Any experiences or comments would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

You can do down that route if you want to, but if you finish your AAT, you'll get some exemptions on some exams on your chartered exams, and you'll be AAT qualified.

Hi,
AAT level 4 can be done in a year.
If you go onto ACA or ACCA you will need to do the foundation level which will probably take you a year also.
With AAT>ACA you will get a maximum of 5 exemptions (depending on optional modules taken leaving you with potentially with 10 exams
AAT>ACCA you will get 3 exemptions leaving 11 exams
Either AAT or foundation chartered is fine - depends if you want extra letters after your name.
I've passed my AAT in Jan 16 and now on ACCA F5 (passed F4). Having AAT definitely boosts understanding ACCA.
