Letter of Engagement for Bookkeeping

Good afternoon All

I have taken on a client where I will only be preparing the bookkkeeping. This will then be passed on to the existing accountant who will draw up the tax return and submit.

I cannot find a sample L of E on the AAT Licenced Accountants website for this. Do I not need a L of E if I am only carrying out bookkeeping?

    There a sample letter of engagement here which has a section for 'maintaining accounting records'. You can use this to set out what the client is expected to provide you with, and the work that you are going to carry out.

    Hello Lizzie,

    Am not sure if you found a Letter of Engagement but all samples can be found under Your MAAT under professional Zone, I found a lot of templates here.
