Ptax 2015

I am confused. I am completing the activities in the Osborne Personal Tax 2015 tutorial book and question 7.6 is relating to
Robert who bought a house then moved into his parents for a few years etc. The question asks which periods would be treated as occupied and then asks for the chargeable gain on the property when he sold it, but it also states that this is his only property so I would have assumed there is no chargeable gain???

    Hi
Treating a residence as your PPR is a matter of fact so you have to actually live in it to claim relief (exceptions for deemed period of occupation).
