Hello,
I sent my application for Licensed Accountant nearly three weeks ago and I have not heard back from AAT. Does anybody know how long it may take to receive a confirmation or a decline?

    Anywhere between 2 & 6 weeks I believe.

    Why not give them a call and chase it up ? Quicker than asking on here ;)

    Hi, I had a phone call to tell me after about 6 weeks, haven't received certificate yet but they said that could take another 4 weeks.

    Give them a call. I found them very helpful.

    Hello gwenb,

    It usually takes about 6 weeks,give the support team a call they will usually reply back within 48 hours.

    There may be some bits of info missing in your application.

    I passed my level four in Sept but did not get my application approved until the end of November and the licenced commenced in Dec 2016.

    Once approved they will usually give you an email to confirm this.

    Thank you for your comments. I emailed them 2 weeks ago after posting my application at the beginning of December. They got back to me asking for more info. Fingers crossed and my reply to their queries will be satisfactory.

    A bit disheartened by the whole process: I sent all documentation in the post (signed for) and it went lost along with my cheque..
    It's going to be 2 months since I sent it first. Sorry for the rant :(
