Statement of Financial Position question?

Hi All,

I'm just starting FAPR. I've mastered the SPL and all the content on the SFP, but I just don't understand the SFP layout. There are 3 columns and i'm unsure if these have any relation to debits/ credits or if they're just a layout for easy reading.

Could someone explain why certain items are put in certain columns?
