Hi Do I have to complete P11Ds for employees earning under £8500 for the year 2016-2017. I thought it was changing and I had to.

    It depends if those employees have received any taxable expenses or benefits...

    Yes they have had the benefit of health insurance

    Can I just check that this is the first year those earning less than £8500 have to pay tax on the benefit?

    New rules apply from 6th April 2016.

    Have a read of the HMRC website. Sign up for agent updates. CPD required if you are offering such as a service to clients (plus good PII cover!)
