Synoptic window a week after previous synoptic results

I have been going through the Cash and Treasury module while waiting for my synoptic results this Friday and the re-sit window is Monday next week. This means that If i need to re-sit I won't be able to sit in this window as I wouldn't be able to book travel (flights as i'm from CI) in such short notice as well as not topping up on revision. Therefor if i need to resit the synoptic I would have to wait until the next window which isn't unit October.
Is anyone else questioning why AATs synoptic windows are the following week from the previous sittings results?
It seems unfair to make a student wait 6 weeks for results and then if they don't pass to have to re-sit the following working day or 2 months away.

It is really unfair of them to do this.0
