Starting out

I'm starting to study AAT through self study. I have bought the level 2 Osborne books and am currently reading through them. When signing up to become an AAT member it is asking me to select a training provider. this may seem obvious so apologies but is this just who I intend to book my exams through? Also if anybody has any recommendations on which to use it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Nathan

    Hi Nathan

When signing to AAT select unattached student as you are self studying
When it comes to book your exams look up who are the closest AAT exam center, from here https://www.aat.org.uk/assessment-venues/search
Ask around to see if they accept external students and what is their fee
When you find the most suitable venue give AAT a call and give them the exam center number and their name

Hi, I have recently had the same issue. AAT advised me to select any training provider from the drop down. Once registered you need to call them and they will alter your profile to show that you are self studying.
