Does anyone else use job cards on excel to track their time.

    Hi Neil
    I use a very basic spreadsheet to record time spent on each activity per client. I also record the different costs E.g. software, companies house fees, mileage against the client.
    Most of my clients pay monthly but this allows me to check the fee is more or less adequate.
    This is a bit time consuming but I can not justify investing in a practice management software for the size of my practice.

    I was just wondering how other people did this, I have an excel spreadsheet with all my different charge out rates ie book-keeping/Accounts and then post actual time taken together with work done and it auto calcs my current work in progress.
    Must start charging mileage to my clients.

    I don't track time at all within our practice however I know some who use T Sheets.
