Hello everyone. Slightly confused here and hope someone can help.
Can VAT be claimed on sandwiches bought for client visits and auditors visit?
I have gone through this link https://www.icaew.com/en/technical/business-resources/legal-regulatory-tax-governance/tax/let-me-entertain-you-when-can-vat-be-claimed. It says on client meals VAT cannot be claimed as its classed as hospitality ie business entertainment.

VAT on clients entertainment is dissallowable i.e. meals.
See Section 2.2.
