Need help with question/answer

Hi, I'm hoping someone can help me with the question/answer from my text book. The only part of the answer I dont understand is why the 175,000 was divided by 1.25 to begin with. I cant figure out where the 1.25 came from. Please help, this is driving me nuts.

    That is why you divide by 1.25

    I was removing the 25% from the 175,000 units, which is clearly wrong.
