I'm just my level 4 studies having completed level 3 last week
I Decided to start with FSLC & my word the unit seems huge... my Kaplan textbook is the thickest I've seen by far (ive studied level 2 & 3)
Im really hoping the sheer volume of the remaining units are not as big as this!!!!!

FSLC and MDCL are very similar in size. A lot of FSLC however is about applying what you've already learned for sole traders and partnerships to Ltd and Plc companies meaning you'll find plenty of overlap. MDCL overlaps with MABU and FSCL (ratios).
The biggest step from 3-4 is that the written questions are much more in depth and the style needed feels very different so that's probably the hardest thing to pick up. (Based on examiners reports as well.)AAT Level 4, MAAT

Yh, i'm noticing the overlap already which is good!
I reviewed the Examiners report and noticed how poorly the results of of the written questions were compared to non written
the percentage actually meeting the 70% requirement on the written task was really low!AAT

Yeah it requires a lot more thought than in previous levels and takes time to get used to especially getting the correct level of detail so you don't spend to long on the question either.AAT Level 4, MAAT

I got my FSLC result at the start of January and had convinced myself that I had failed. Unfortunately I was right but when i actually saw my result I actually felt worse than if i had a disaster (which I thought I had) in the exam. I got 65% meaning that i failed by around 8 marks. 8 sections so basically 1 mark per section would have given me a pass. Oh well back to studying this one again later.0
