Training provider for ACCA

Hello.

I have recently attained MAAT status and would be keen to continue my studies onto ACCA. Can anyone recommend a training provider?

    I would highly recommend looking at First Intuition. I studied my Level 4 AAT with them and they were FANTASTIC!! - I wish I had found them for my earlier 2 levels.
    Currently looking to start my CIMA studies and without any hesitation I will be choosing FI.

    Thanks for the tips! I'll definitely take the advice on board and have a good think.

    I've also been spending time looking over the syllabus for ACCA and CIMA - can't decide which one to choose now! Do you have any advice on that? I'm currently in the public sector and don't think I ever see myself in a client serving position.

    I think this is down to personal choice and your current job role/future career aspirations. Both are very highly respected qualifications.

    Traditionally ACCA has leaned more towards working in an accountancy practice, whereas CIMA leaning more towards working in industry/private limited companies. However having said that I know alot of people who have studied ACCA and are working in industry (some came from working in an accountancy practice and some who just preferred the syllabus).

    ACCA will cover Tax/Audit whereas CIMA only touches on the different types of Taxation and their implications.

    Not sure if this really helps, but as said above I think this is really down to your own personal choice and where you see your current role/future career going.

    It could also be worth talking to a college/training provider and getting their thoughts on both?... Just a suggestion :)
