Hi there,

I finished the AAT qualifications 15 years ago and then promptly moved abroad to do something completely different from accounting (teaching).

I'm looking for advice about what to study to refresh my memory, as obviously after 15 years I've forgotten a lot of things. I was looking at the bookkeeping courses, as ideally I'd like a job where I can work from home.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Hi, I would say bookkeeping would be the main thing to look over but there is so much to look over so it may be worth getting an AAT membership if you do not have one still and looking through the Livelong Learning Portal, I find it really helpful! Maybe start off on Level 2 Bookkeeping and work your way up (even though you do not need to do the actual exams!)
