Good morning all,

First Post and new user ?

I currently work part time, and also run my own ecommerce business. I use an accountant to file my taxes etc for the business.

I'm looking at doing an AAT course, and dedicating my time and effort to accounting. I'd like to run an accounting business for other ecommerce sellers - can I do this with an AAT qualification, and what level would I need to achieve, to be able to do this?

Sorry if this has been asked 100 times before, I have looked but can't find.

Cheers,
SotonDad

To file other peoples tax etc you would need Level 4 and a practicing licence. You would also need PI insurance and register with ICO

You would also need experience in order to gain a practice certificate.
This would also be important to learn industry techniques and to ensure you do things correctly.

If you haven't done yourself already get yourself on an AAT level 2 course and if you can afford the pay cut, an apprenticeship.
