AAT | Continuity of practice cover 🔒

I am in need of continuity practice cover if anyone is interested in exchanging details.

Hello. I am in the process of applying for an AAT Accountant's licence but I currently do not have anybody who is able to be my continuity of care person.
I am South London and Sussex based with my own small bookkeeping and accounts business.

Can Anyone please provide Continuity Cover for my practice. I am a Licensed Accountant and keep all my records digitally. I offer the following services:
Bookkeeping, VAT , Management accounts, Payroll, Computerised accountancy systems, Financial Accounting & Accounts Preparation for sole traders and partnerships and Financial Accounting & Accounts Preparation for sole traders and partnerships.

I have applied 3 more services to be added. These are Financial Accounting & Account Preparation for statutory purposes, Corporation Tax and Business Income Tax.

I can provide cover in return if needed.

After qualifying with AAT over 6 years ago I’ve finally got my licence for public practice. I’m a fellow member and have been (and continue to) work in industry in a finance manager role. I’m looking for someone to have a mutual continuity of practice agreement with.

Chosen person will ideally offer the same licensed services as I do, namely:

- Financial Accounting & Accounts Preparation for statutory purposes
- Bookkeeping
- Budgeting and Forecasting
- Financial Accounting & Accounts Preparation for sole traders and partnerships
- Management Accounting
- Payroll
- Computerised Accountancy Systems
- Business Income Tax
- Corporation Tax
- Personal Income Tax
- Value Added Tax
- Company Secretarial Services (Trust or Company Services Provider (TCSP))

Presently I have one officially engaged client, but I plan to take on more with time. It’s unlikely the CoP would ever need to be called upon (and my LoE allows clients to opt out) but I’d like to look at having the cover in place before it becomes a requirement.
