Hi I'm just wondering what VAT code on SAGE would you code for wine and chocolate's for Christmas gifts to clients please?

    Assuming that the wine and chocolates are not clearly branded with your business advertising, if I were recording these entries I would consider a client gift to be subject to the same treatment as client entertainment; which is generally not tax deductible or reclaimable for VAT. So I would record them with a VAT code T9.
