Amazon - China Supplier UK Vat number

Hi, I have purchased goods from a company in China and Cyprus. They both have UK VAT registered numbers, both of which I have checked on the direct gov website and they are correct. My question is, am I able to claim the VAT please?

    I recently bought from AliExpress, they will only charge you tax if you are not UK tax verified. As I'm not I get charged the tax

    Hi yes 20% VAT and a UK VAT number on the invoice
