Hi all, just need some advice please...
My friend, who is a British citizen (but living & studying at university in the UAE full-time) has recently accepted a remote, part-time job (title is Writer & Narrative Designer) from an American game studio in Ohio.
He is paid $16 an hour and is allowed to work up to 40 hours a month. The questions I need answered are:
1. What would his status be? Perhaps a contractor?
2. Would he need to do anything at all with regards to declaring income or anything related to HMRC? If not, I assume he can just crack on without having to worry about any paperwork.
Thanks and please let me know if you need any further information.
