Registering for PAYE as an agent - HMRC

I've been trying to get signed up for this service for a few weeks now. I've sent a letter which they accepted our CT and SA request.

I've tried using the agent services account, but I've been given a code that doesn't want to work when trying to register through our normal gateway. Has anyone got any advice to point me in the right direction?

    Have you tried registering online through your normal agent Gov Gateway?

    Tried this but it wants my PAYE agent reference, which you used to get by writing to HMRC (which I have done), but now when going through the steps on HMRC it wants me to do it online (which I have also done)... They give you a code and it states wait 4 days, now I'm almost a week later.

    Looking like I'll need to write to the Agent team at HMRC

    Sometimes HMRC takes more time(more than 4 days ) to add your PAYE agent code to your account. When HMRC add then you can enrol. Before that you can’t enrol. I think you can wait few more days.

    Unfortunately not! I've sent a letter but apparently the BX9 agent address is a PO box that's having problems receiving post....

    Just a waiting game now

    Managed to get to a point where I need a code for my agent portal, but now the letter hasn't appeared at my address... Another case of waiting

    How did you manage? I recently have the same issue with PAYE code. It doesn’t work. What I need to do now?Please tell me.
