Looking for Accounting Role

Hi,

I have completed Levels 2 and 3, and I am now trying to find an accounting role. I am struggling to find any jobs as everyone wants experience which I don't have.

Do other people have the same problem as well,

    I hope you are well?

    Have your tried applying on Reed, Total Jobs, CV Library, Indeed? Try and apply for Finance Assistant / Accounts Assistant / Purchase Ledger / Sales Ledger roles, these are all entry level roles then from there you can look at Assistant Accountant etc. If you get nothing, try to find a volunteer role for like 2-3 hours a week to show commitment in accounts, and you will get there.

    Keep applying and trying you will get there.

    I have got accounting job after ACCA. It is a valuable qualification, and you will easily find accounting job after doing ACCA. I would recommend you to do ACCA for a good accounting job.

    Yes, I have found a role as a trainee accountant starting in January on a full time basis. I have been searching, but you just need to push. I did my levels 2 and 3. Thanks to Sham for a bit of a hand.
