Is there anyone else that leaves lessons feeling as though they haven't learnt anything? It doesn't matter how much I concentrate sometimes I still leave thinking what was all that about? Aren't BPP books confusing? I know already that I will have to redo this year, anyone got some study aids that work? Please, I am now at that desparation stage.

    I am doing Intermediate at the moment and sometimes get that same feeling where I have been to the lesson listened to what my tutor has to say and it has just not sunk in at all so find that I have to do quite a bit of extra reading at home and exercises. All I can suggest is keep going.<BR><BR>Are you on Technician stage at the moment then if so I think I have got a lot more hard work ahead of me<BR><BR>Eddy

    Thank you so much for my reply. I found I was this way on intermediate as well so I think that it must just be a trait! I studied every hour God sent while on intermediate and haven't got the same ammount of time on technician and so I think that this is the problem. I have to state though that I have some wonderful tutors and they are helpful. I am sure that you will do really well, especially because you put in so much time, I would be really grateful if you let me know how you get on with your skills tests, I always think that if I can get through those, I can get through anything lol.     I'm working on Unit 4 in foundation through the FTC at the moment. The earlier chapters were bit of a breeze because I work in that environment, but this is more difficult as I can't relate to any of it. I'm thinking of writing out some cards with formulas and brief explanations of different topics. I think my maths fails me, although I really enjoy the accounting environment maths was not my strongest skill at college! I'm just going keep at it and hope it sinks in before I get too despondent. Sorry to sound depressing, I'm sure you'll do fine, just keep going and all the best.

    Hi Eddy,<BR>My name is Karen and no you are not thick.<BR>I am doing Technician at the moment and yes it is hard, I am trying with 4 children and a job (30hrs a week) to study.<BR>I have just passed my PEV exam (AAT tried to charge me a late entry fee for 1 day so I fought them over it, and they gave in the Saturday before my exam. So that did not help my revising one bit, but I was going to prove a point and I passed my exam).<BR><BR>You can do it.
