I am an italian citizen and I am in the process of finilising my AAt qualification. i am planning to move to Italy and was interested to know if there is a process which i need to follow to convert my qualification or are NVQs recognised as valid qualifications by all European Unions memebers.

    You're qualifications are generally recognised by each member state just like your right to work. You may need to redo any local tax or law elements in your destination country as these won't be the same as the UK. There will be a Level 4 Cerificate in most countries but their normal technician qualification may be above or below this, usually depending on the number of classroom teaching hours compared with the AAT (648 hrs). <BR><BR>The Dept of Trade and Employment or the Italian technical colleges will be able to give you precise information on this.     I am studying Intermediate in London at the moment, but might have the opportunity to move to Dubai. Any idea how it works over there? I have seen that they have an centre. Are the courses also one year?
