Hello,<BR><BR>Please can anyone help! I am studying foundation & finding it difficult to remember how to post payroll ie posting debits & credits correctly between wages expense and wages control, is there a simple way to remember order of posting?<BR><BR>- Rocky<BR><BR>

    Hi Rocky<BR><BR>I have to manually post the wages by journal here at work. I'm afriad i don't know any quick ways of remembering it though.<BR><BR>This is what I do:<BR>Dr Salaries P&L<BR>Dr Employers NI P&L<BR>Cr Wages paid BS<BR>Cr PAYE BS<BR>Cr Employees NI BS<BR><BR>Hope that helps<BR><BR>Helenx<BR><BR>
