With the Technician exam dates fast approaching I am still unsure what role, if any, the student profile will form as part of the exam criteria. Also, it is understood that there is a further requirement regarding health and safety.

As there are no devolved assessments, does this mean that examples of work completed need to be submitted? If so. To what level? Does it have to be signed off? And, if so, by whom? And. Has anybody completed the health and safety exercise as yet?

If anybody has any reliable information, I would be grateful to receive a response.

Shirley

Hi

If you completed health and safety under the old standards but are doing technician under the new standards you will need to complete some top-up exercises for health and safety.

With regards to work place evidence, none is required for the technician units assessed by examination.

Neil
