Hello,<BR><BR>I know this is probably a bit of a janet and john-type question for most people but I hope someone can help- Using sage what nominal coding would website and internet costs come under?<BR><BR>Cheers<BR>Jo

    Hi,<BR>Our accountant told us he wanted them in Advertising. Probably one of those expenses that could fit into more than one category but as a website is advertising the company on the internet I can see the reasoning behind putting it there.<BR>Hope this helps!<BR>

    We use the telephone nominal for internet useage, websites would also come under the same unless it was used to advertise the company directly in which case we would put it under advertisnig/marketing.<BR><BR>Hope this helps.

    Hi Jo.<BR><BR>You could set up new nominal codes specifically for this expenditure. If you have no spare codes you could rename a code which you don't use.<BR><BR>Scott.

    We have a nominal code especially for Internet. As Scott said, you can set up your own codes. I guess it depends how many internet expenses you anticipate incurring to whether it warrants its own code or not.
