Does anyone know if there is anyway to alter nominal codes of items once they have been posted onto sage?<BR><BR>Thanks

    i've put somethings under refreshments and want to change them to subsisitence

    Hi Gail<BR><BR>Go into the Nominal module, and click on Journal. You need to credit Refreshments and debit Subsistence. Put the amount less VAT into the journal, not the total including VAT.<BR><BR>Hope it helps. <BR><BR>Helenx

    Hi <BR>you can also go directly to maintenance and do some corrections on the nominal code directly, if it was not originally a journal transfer.

    You can reverse journals if you have the last update Sage v10 use the help key in Sage it is excellent and you can also subscribe to their monthly newsletter with all sorts of top tips which is free. To use the mainteneance you need to take down the Audit trail number first, this will save you time, be careful as some corrections need doing in more than one tab section. If you dont understand, you should not be doing it, ask someone with more knowlwedge and understanding you could end up doing some serious damage. If you are ok good luck!
