Stock reorder level

Could someone please give me the formula to calculate the above, or point me in the right direction as to where to find out?<BR><BR>The info presented to me is:<BR><BR>Expected usage per month: 3000 max / 2300 average / 1600 minimum<BR><BR>Expected delivery period: 4 months max / 3 months average / 2 months minimum<BR><BR>The quantity per reorder is 8,200.<BR><BR><BR><BR><BR>Now the way I see it is, we take the maximum delivery period and multiply it by the maximum expected usage for that period therefore:<BR><BR>4 months x 3,000 units per month = reorder level is 12,000.<BR><BR>In addition, is it possible to calculate the maximum/minimum stock level from this info presented!?<BR><BR>Thanks in advance.
