DEAR FELLOW MEMBERS!<BR><BR>HI,HOW ARE YOU?<BR><BR>I AM PLANNING TO DO ICAEW'S ACA BUT IT IS VERY DIFFICULT FOR ME TO DECIDE HOW TO DO IT? AAT FAST TRACK TO ACA OR FIRST DO ACCA THAN ACA?<BR><BR>FROM DOING WHICH ONE I CAN GET MORE EXEMPTIONS IN ACA?<BR><BR>PLEASE HELP ME FIND THE RIGHT ROUTE.<BR><BR>YOUR QUICK REPLY WILL BE HIGHLY APPRECIATED.<BR>

    AAT OR ACCA?

    Hi there,<BR>ACCA and ICAEW are two seperating accounting bodies. The AAT/ICAEW fast track route only takes two years instead of three years to complete. <BR><BR>If you qualified on the new standards you will get exemption from the first year of the ACCA exam but if like me you qualified on the old standards you will still need to do the Paper 1.3 before going on to the second year. There is a list of exemptions on this website- they vary depending on the organisation (Uni, ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW, CIPFA etc) that you are interested in.<BR><BR>I hope this helps<BR><BR>Andrew
