Please, could anyone help me, I have a question about AAT exam.

It is written there (On exams papers) that you are not allowed to use pencil to solve your exam, but if I did, does that affect on the result or not?

Please I am waiting for your answer.

I was told by my tutor that they can disallow pencil answers, as it shows indecision. But if you have only used pencil to do your working out, and not in the actual answers you should be ok i would have thought.

This was posted on another forum as advice to students about to sit exams:-

Pencils - take them if you feel you want to but any workings out or answers written in pencil will be INADMISSABLE - you may lose points. Better to just answer everything in pen.
I wrote some things in pencil but then when i was confident it was ok i went over it in pen and rubbed the pencil out.

The only thing I did in pencil was some workings out on the journal where i drafted up some T accounts coz I got confused!

I have never heard of anyone failing before because they wrote in pencil so relax and dont panic!
