Hi

I was really pleased with yesterdays exam but didn't think to adj my balance sheet to make sure the P&L retained profit was ok.

I think I got roughly 9156 - can anyone else remember what they got? I've spoken to someone who had about 4k so while i thought i'd done it right i'm a bit apprehensive now.

Hopefully, thats me for AAT - CIMA here I come!!

My P&L came to 4546 and I was happy with this at the time but the doubt slowly creeps in after the exam doesn't it?

The exam seemed straight forward enough, expected more complicated ratios so was pleasantly surprised.

Roll on Feb. when we can all be put out of our misery.

Gill
0 -

I'm sure my retained profit for the year came to 4546 as well. I spoke to a few people outside the exam hall who all said it seemed familiar.0 -

Oh crap!! I wonder where i've gone wrong - I thought all the adjustments were OK but i've obviously missed something.

I def included tax, dividends, reduced the stock..can't remember what else but was comfortable with all adjustments.

Any one any ideas????0 -

I also got 4546 for the P & L, and because I had finished the exam and still had about 10/15 mins left I decided to see if this retained profit was correct by constructing my own little balance sheet (don't worry I didn't write it on the answer paper). Adding this retained profit to the original profit and the balance sheet balanced. So 4546 is DEFINITELY CORRECT!0 -
