    Hi Kieron,<BR><BR>After reading through some of the messages on this discussion forum I have noticed that my answers seem to be identical to yours. My total on the balance sheet was also £211,050. So many people have mentioned a balance which includes a 50p but I checked my paper over and over and could not see any errors. <BR><BR>Thanks again<BR>

    i dont think many people have not taken into account the £49 VAT figure from the £329 so, people will not get the £211050 but instead will get £211001, thats the only thing i can think of that people hae done<BR><BR>regards<BR><BR>Keiron

    it was one of the journal questions with the gross as 329 - so it should have been split 280 net & 49 vat

    I think I may need your help - I really haven't had much help from my college and there was so much in the FRA exam that I was not taught, did anyone else have this problem?? Also, would you be able to give advise on portfolio building as this was not mentioned by my college and I need to do it ASAP...

    I would really consider talking to your college and AAT directly about their teachings,<BR><BR>I Haven't myself really started on building my portfolio yet...lol<BR><BR>The £ 329 - was a journal question<BR><BR>the why i do it is if the vat has already been added on then to find the figure before the vat is to...<BR><BR>[figure+vat] - divided by - 117.5 - then multiplied by 100 to get the original figure<BR><BR>ie. ( £ 117.50 / 117.50) x 100 = £100 <BR><BR>or<BR><BR>( £ 329 / 117.5 ) x 100 = 280<BR><BR>hope this help anyone!<BR><BR>regards,<BR><BR>Keiron

    I have several accounts experience, but for the last one-two years I tried running a small business which failed. I want to get back into accounts but agencies say experience is too old? Please advise.
