I don't know where to start, I haven't Identified a theme as yet, tough this, have read it, have found a couple of funny bits, where a lot of jealous culture exists because a younger "female" member got a promotion after the merger of the hotel chains, also I think the 61 year old should be pensioned off (which I cannot put in my actual report because of "Equal opputunities" hahaha) Will probably say someting about workloads etc, help me phrase this nicely guys what do you think???<BR><BR>Any one else doing this case study and would like to discuss...<BR><BR>Thanks,<BR><BR>Nafisa

    Hi Nafisa<BR><BR>Thought our centre was the only one doing this case study as no one else seems to have heard of it. Haven't brought myself to read it right through just yet as the sheer volume has really put me off. One thing that hadn't been made clear to us though was that you only need to work on one specific area, which is clear enough on a work-based project but the whole of our class had thought we needed to analyse the system as a whole and make recommendations thereon!!! Now that we have been put straight I can't seem to muster any enthusiasm. Has to be handed in by 10 March and I have Audit devolved and a Payroll diploma at the end of January. I think February will be my busy month on this which may help me try not to think about the results. At the moment I intend focusing on the payroll system for the case study but may well change my mind once I have a thorough read. If you have similar thoughts it may be good to keep in touch.<BR><BR>Although I would have preferred to do a work-based project, particularly as I had one outlined, I think this may turn out okay. All the information is there and there are no right and wrong answers but justifiable suggestions to resolve problems.<BR><BR>Good luck with yours.<BR><BR>

    Thanks for getting back to me birds eye view. If I was going to write about our workplace where we still do the payroll manually based on the tables. The case study doesn't highlight any problems with the payroll system though, so I am still thinking of a theme. Glad I am that I am not the only one writing on the case study. Anymore people???
