Hi Guys,

I have just finsihed my Foundation level and need to start thinking about my intermediate level. I was just wondering can someone give me some advice on what to do, at my training centre which is BPP they offer either an advanced level, where both unit are done together and exam for both are in in June 2005. They also offer the normal level where one unit is studied at once, one exam in June 2005 and another in December 2005.

What has everyone else done, do u think i would be ale to cope with both, how much work is involved etc.

Thank You!

xx

Unit for intermediate
Hi
I was in the same situation in the summer, I study with BPP as well,
I was advised by my tutor, with working full time etc to do one unit at
a time and I am pleased I did, it mean't that I wasn't as stressed and
was able to enjoy what I was doing. I sat FRA last week and will be doing
ECR in June.
I think it all depends on your circumstances, what time you have available for study and how quick you need to complete the course.
Hope this helps.
Sammy
0 -
Unit for intermediate
Ditto the previous thread. Do one at a time. This way you can fully concentrate on the Finance with an exam at the end of it, then the Costing. I've just sat the FRA and Devolved Assessment. Provided that I've passed, they're now out of the way.

I can now focus on the Costing after Christmas and the exam in June

It definitely makes sense.

Your call though.

David0 -
Unit for intermediate
Hi all,

I've just done a fast track course at college three days a week and have taken both exams with only a day between them. The course ends at the end of Jan.

I have to say I would have found it easier to concentrate on them one at a time, it was a struggle and that was studying three days a week! If I haven't passed them both then will need to retake in June anyway... which is very likely!!

Good luck though whatever you decide to do...

Yeah I would suggest studying one unit at a time but it all depends on your personal circumstances. I study one unit at a time and have just completed the FRA so now am concentrating on Costing in January, but I have a stressful full time job, a kid and a house to run.....

do whatever you feel comfortable with

Hope that helps!

Michelle0 -

Unit for intermediate
Hello there!

I have just finished both units and took both exams three weeks ago. I am with BPP Home Study and have a full time job and I only started them in October! I would NOT recommend that approach as I was incredibly stessed but think that I did ok overall, but that remains to be seen!

I'm still working on Unit 7 though!0 -

it may take longer, but do one part at a time. if you are working this way you can balance social, work and study life0
