Any tips for Personal Tax module

I have just started Personal Tax module and wanted to know how other students who have done it before found it and the best way to rember everything you need for the exam. It looks really complicated and I am concerned I will not be able to feel confident. ANy tips ?

    I would suggest that you do every practice question that you can get your hands on, even borrow another textbook (I don't know which ones you are using). We did every exercise in BPP tax book and then had the option of using FTC books (which were the ones we all had) as back up. I found that once you did loads of practice, it all came together. Tax is quite different in that it is loads of things to remember but you can go a long way if you use pro formas and learn them off by heart.<BR><BR>If it's any consolation, I am doing tax for ACCA and most of it has already been covered by AAT (I did both tax options).<BR><BR>Good luck<BR>Annette

    I am doing both tax options too and did the personal tax exam in Dec. I would also say do every practice question and paper you can. It really helped me!

    Any tips for Personal Tax module

    I have just started both Personal and Business tax modules and will take the exams in June.     Any tips for Personal Tax module

    Hi,<BR><BR>I did my AAT - ACA top up tax paper last december and made a right mess of it! I have always found tax hard.<BR><BR>Do you know if any pocket sized revision books exist, the ones that summarise things?<BR><BR>Cheers
