MAS Project - Confused

I have a problem i have looked at the information on this web site and it lookes like this project is very system based, but my tutor says its people based and not much about changing a system goes into it, can someone let me know which way round it is. Thanks

    I've found that it seems to be a bit of both. Reviewing a particular procedure within your workplace and the people that work the procedure, identifying problems within and then recommending the staff involved change the way they do things in order to strengthen the whole process.<BR><BR>That's my view anyway, although I aint been doing it that long. The projects I've read seem to be pretty consitant in their approach and conclusions.<BR>Hope that helps!<BR>Pete.

    I've gathered a similar understanding as Pete. Also, it can be any procedure. Presumably anything from filing of invoices, to year end procedures. Obviously it makes sense to improve something that is to do with your job as you are likely to know a lot about why it needs improving, and what needs to be improved. For example, I know that my department is rubbish at producing supplier reconciliations, simply because they haven't been shown how to do it. Since I've been producing them since I left school and am the only one in the department that does any, I've chosen to improve the current system, and provide training once it is in place.<BR><BR>Sounds simple, but can I write 3,000 - 4,000 words about it?!
