anyone else pass BTC and fail PTC?

How gutted am I?!?!?! Took BTC and PTC in December - they were to be my last 2 AAT exams. Was hoping to be getting final certificates in the post as I've done the project already. But I failed PTC. Absolutely gutted. Work in a small practice doing people's Tax Returns. etc. Think it may have been a case of working harder on BTC as I don't do anything about it at work - but not concentrating hard enough on PTC as I assumed I'd be ok on it - how wrong can a person be!!! Kind of downhearted - but I'll just have to do it again in June I suppose. Just a shame it put me back 6 months - was hoping to be registering for ACCA soon. <BR>If anyone else was in the same boat I hope you're not gonna give up - we've all gotta keep going... I know I'm not gonna give up - I'm determined to show those who were slightly patronsing about my results that I can do it and I will do it... If it takes me another 6 months then so be it...<BR>Soryr - just needed to get that off my chest!!! Feel free to do the same!!!!!<BR>Laura<BR>xx

    That is such a shame, but keep going, you sound very positve considering you didnt get what you wanted and like you say its only another 6 months, that will be here in no time and Im sure you will pass with flying colours!<BR><BR>Good luck<BR>Geri

    thanks for that geri - hope you did well with any exams you sat... it's hard sometimes to keep your mouth shut and bite your tongue when older colleagues appear to have no faith in you - but i'll show them!!!!!! only thought now is that i'm gonna need new books cos the tax rates will have changed and i'll have to pay out another £30 to sit the paper again!!!!!! oh well.......
