How much work experience is required to get full AAT member ship? I don't actually work in Accounts at the moment but I'm trying to find a new job as I know you need the experience.

    Work Experience

    Hi <BR><BR>I have a feeling that it's 2 years. I got a form through from the AAT ages ago about it. All I had to do at the time was attach my job description and get my boss to sign it of. I think there's more to it than that though. I'm expecting the AAT to get in contact again now that I've completed the AAT. I'l let you know.<BR><BR>Clare

    Work Experience

    The details of work experience are on this website under the 'membership levels' link.<BR><BR>I think it's a year's experience and the work has to be covered in the AAT course at some level e.g. costing, budgeting, year end accounts etc.<BR><BR>You do not need experience in everything.<BR><BR>Also, at least 50% of your work time must be in accounts (not admin tasks)<BR><BR>The link is very reassuring.
