Hi.

Does anyone know what the proceedure is if you want to appeal and how long it takes to go through. And do the AAT tell you how many points you got in each section or just a total %.

I failed PEV but only in the 1st section. I cant decide if its worth paying the money to appeal or not. Please respond if you have appealed before and if you think its worth it.

Sammy x

Appeal
Hi, I failed this on one section last June, I appealed, I think the cost was £30something. Apparently its remarked and a report producted, I got the report which showed how I passed the first section, and how I had failed the second. I read it over and over and it did help me see where I was going wrong. With lots and lots of revision and many past papers, I have finally passed it this time round. I found the report useful and worth the money. Apparently if when they've remarked your paper, and its found to be really a pass, then your payment is refunded. However I wouldn't hold my breath, as I beleive the checking/marking procedure is very stringent!

Good Luck for next time, I am sure you will sail through!!!0 -

Can I ask how do you find out which section it was that you failed on? All I can ever see is just Sucessful or unsuccessful.
I failed PCR (probably on both sections) but might be worth knowing what I did wrong for revision purposes.0 -

lol - you will see when you get your exam results through the post that it says unsuccessful and then next to it on the same page it will say section 1 y/n section 2y/n - these are the parts of the paper that should tell you which part you failed on. If a y then you passed that section and n for a fail.

Katherine0 -
