Hi!
I am currently awaiting my exam results for DFS, PCR and BTC.
I work for an accountancy practice and need to make a decision on which professional quliafication to take next. There are a mixture of ACCA and ACA trainees at my firm. But I am still unable to decide which one to go for.
Could someone please give me details of the differences between the two?
ACCA or ACA?????
Hi

ACA is considered to be more of a challenge than ACCA, and seems to have a more prestigous respect from employers too. However, to do ACA you must remain employed in an approved company (usually practise) and agree to a 3 year training contract (not sure what the exact terms of the contact are)

Neil0 -

ACCA or ACA?????
Hi

If you have time to surf on the internet, you might be able to find most of the information about ACA and the web is www.icaew.co.uk, I am actually thinking about what to do next after AAT, and I didn't know where to find information about ACCA just yet, oh you might be able to go to BPP's website. To be honest with you, sometimes it's much more diffcult to make a decision than actually to sit the exams, the more information you have, and I believe the better decision you will going to make, so please take you time to find out which one will be the best for you and wish you are good luck!

Regard!0
