Hi there people!...<BR>Im 17 and currently doing my AS Levels in Maths, English Language, ICT and DT.<BR>Im really pissed off with 6th form at the moment.<BR>With 8 GCSE's at A - C and 4 AS Levels will that qualify me to do the AAT - Intermediate Level??<BR>Also could you give your opinions on this course??<BR>Thanks for your help!! <BR>Miles

    Hi Miles<BR><BR>I'm not sure If you can go straight on to the intermediate level of AAT. I think it would be best if you started at the foundation stage as from your message is does not appear that you have any accounting experiance which you will need for the intermediate stage.<BR><BR>I went straight onto the intermediate level when I started the AAT as I have 3 years years experiance in accounts and also have a HND in business and finance. I am doing the course through the financial training company on an evening and I'm really enjoying it. The college that I'm at is great and I have learnt so much in the short time that I have been on the course.<BR><BR>If you really want to go into accountancy and currently don't have any experiance in accounts then I think the AAT would definately be the best course for you.<BR><BR>Hope that helps<BR>Dawn

    Hi Miles,<BR>I agree with Dawn. I have 5 O`levels and 3 A`levels but did foundation first. Am I glad I did.<BR>I think I would have really struggled if I hadn`t done Foundation first.<BR>Good luck,<BR><BR>Sarah <BR><BR>.

    I think at your age you can do a modern apprenticeship which pays you whilst training, you work and get sponsored through the course by the government. Have a word with careers advice.<BR><BR>Annette
