I have recently sat it and its quite okay.

There are two graphs to be done and you need to know how to the moving average.

    Sally,

What text books are you using ? As if you are using the osborne books i would suggest you practice doing Simulation 6: Homer Ltd, as the skills test for unit 7 Reports & Returns is very similar.

inky.

I haven't got the osborne books at the moment, I understand that the moving average is needed to be known and graphs as well any other tips?
I dont think you are no. I am going to be sitting mine on Tuesday and I had the mock a few weeks ago, there was two graphs to do but they were quite straight forward.
Moving averages were also included and our tutor last week was going over indices so I think they could possibly be in it as well

i did a practice reports and returns paper, last week, but as i am home study, no one said i couldnt use the pc, so i did the graphs and the report on excel, and submitted them, not heard yet from tutors, but if i was not supposed to use the pc, i guess they will certainly tell me off!!!! lol
Well I have my simulation on Tuesday and I have been studing all weekend!! I am finding the Intermediate level really hard especially the costing. I bought the BPP books as advised by the college but a lot of people have been out and bought osborne books as they explain things a bit clearer, so I am considering buying them as well.
which books have you been using?
Soph,

Salisbury Intermediates were all advised to go for the BPP Books - there were 5 in total (big thick 'uns as well !) As we went on through the year, loads of us were buying the Osborne Books off our own backs, although just the tutorials. Theroy being that the Assesment Kits for the BPP would not be dis-similar to questions in the Workbook of Osborne.

In all honesty, we all find the Osborne Books so much easier to understand, and them passcasrds that BPP are flogging - well, they really not worth it in my opinion.

Mick
