    Im in the process of doing that subject now but I don't have my skill test until the middle of May.<BR><BR>How come yours is so early in the year as the exam is not for another3 months?

    Its fairly straight forward, if you have done Branson & Co and Delft, it covers all these basics<BR>Good Luck<BR>

    hI Dawn<BR>This will be my first skill test as I joined the course at intermediate level I am sure the paper is set by AAT board. we have already done our costing unit 5 skill test 3 weeks ago. still have reports and vat module to do. I think the centre marks the paper and you have to pass these papers before you can actually sit for final in June.<BR><BR><BR>

    HI - I have my skills test on Tuesday and have done the Delft paper but not the Branson and Co. Do you know if this in in the BBP books?<BR>Also is the skills test very similar to Delft?<BR>Thanks

    The FRA skills test is similar to the Delft exercise in the Osbourne text. <BR><BR>If u don't pass ur skills test first time then EITHER u you need to do another simulation (if you've done very badly) OR you may be set an exercise to test your competency so that you meet that performance criterion (where you have demonstrated competency in all but one small part).<BR><BR>The AAT does not learn the outcome of your skills test ahead of the Central Assessment in June. You may sit the exam regardless. However the cover of the simulation will be returned with comments and signed by your tutor for you to put into your portfolio as evidence. Note that the skills test is subject to an internal verification (by another tutor) and you may be asked to submit your portfolio for external verification by the AAT after you have sat the exam.

    Sorry if I am asking the obvious Ò?? but, is the UNIT 5 (financial) skills test, just like the DELFT practice sim from the osboure books, in the same way that Ò??Quality CandlesÒ?? was the same as the UNIT 6 (Costing) skill test? Or was it more like Branson & Company

    Where can I find the Branson and Co - is it in the assesment kit or text of BPP - I cant seem to find it? _ Please could anyone help? :0)<BR>

    can't remember exact details but but offhand (it's been a few weeks) i'd say skills test is most like Delft. That doesn't mean you should completely ignore Branson & Co as there's no telling what may crop up in the central assessment in June.<BR>BTW, Trog, both the Branson & Co and Delft simulations are found at the back of the Osbourne Financial Records & Accounts workbook. If you don't use that text, I may be able to forward you copies if ur interested.<BR><BR>N
