Hiya<BR>Please help me!!<BR>How many years do I need to keep Petty Cash Vouchers, Invoices, and Tax records for?<BR><BR>Are they all 7 years????

    My text book says 6 years, but my companies policy states 7 years

    For VAT purposes 6 years minimum. (I assume then any invoices/petty cash vouchers involving VAT also count).<BR>Payroll (therefore Inland Revenue) - a recommended 3 years.<BR><BR>OR SO MY TEXTBOOK CLAIMS.<BR>

    text books are crap!!<BR><BR>payroll records should be kept 3 yrs for inland revenue and some other reg wants it kept 4 7!!<BR><BR>Invoices etc are kept for 7 years, 5 archieved, 1 in storage in the office and another for the current tax year<BR><BR>hope this helps
