Authorisation of Invoices

I'm just gathering evidence for unit 1, and am a bit stuck on how to provide evidence of authorisation of invoices. We issue lots of invoices every week and can't possibly check every single calculation. <BR><BR>What have other people done to demonstrate that invoices are 'authorised'?<BR>

    Hi there,<BR><BR>I was able to provide this quite easily, fortunetley in my job i dont invoice very often and so when we do, we usually use 'invoice request forms' which have to be filled in and signed off by a director(s) depending on the amount. I have provided this with the copy invoice, in my portfolio and hopefully, this will be sufficient. As you said you issue lots of invoices a day, but couldnt you get a supervisor, or someone to sign off an invoice. If not remember that a written statement signed of by a supervisor should be sufficient.<BR><BR>Hope this helps!

    Hi There<BR><BR>I was struggling with building my portfolio but most of it is covered in the end of unit exam, i was left with about 4 bits of criteria to cover which was just the general questions

    Hiya<BR><BR>The place I work is a small company so we don't stamp invoices and get them authorised as such. I just check them myself and put them straight on the system. For my evidence I just supplied a copy of an invoice and added notes saying what I would do with it. Then I got my boss to write a brief statement comfirming how we authorise invoices which he then signed, and that's been accepted.
