I am just entering staff into payroll but am unsure of how to add hourly rates into an employee profile. There is no option for hourly rate, just the option to enter pay weekly, fornightly or monthly. Do i work the gross wage out of hourly paid staff manually and alter their profile accordingly each week or is there a section i have missed that allows you to add hourly rates?<BR><BR>Cheers

I have Sage Payroll Pro - so im not sure if its the same - so If I will try to explain as best as I can.<BR><BR>Double click the employee to open the employee record.<BR><BR>then Click Employment - which should be the second tab along.<BR><BR>then in bottom left is Pay elements - then this brings up which employees need each pay element.<BR>If there isnt any pay elelments there - press new<BR><BR>I think if you go to tasks and global changes - there might be a task to add pay elements to every employee.<BR><BR>Just rememeber that "PAY ELEMENTS" is what you are trying to set up.<BR><BR>Let me know how you get on.<BR><BR>Amanda0 -

Hi Stacey<BR><BR>I have Sage Instant Payroll V10 and you cannot enter hourly pay (or if you can I have never found a way to do it), I just work out the monthly amount and divide it into an hourly rate.<BR><BR>Tracy0
