The exams are approaching fast and I have to say I am panicing as I found techician quite difficult compared to the other 2 years.
My tutor at college mentioned that we could take the Audit skilled test alongside the tax central exam, I've studied Tax all year and it's my worst subject I can't seem to remember all the little rules so I was thinking of taking the Audit exam as a backup because if I pass everything and fail tax (which is likely) but I pass auditing I can carry onto CIMA without having to resit tax.
My main question is to the people who have studied Auditing:
Is it possible to scrape through the Audit exam if I start studying from a book this late in the year????

Any feeback will be appreciated.

Thanx Dee

The audit skills test will need a high level of competence but it is do-able
the ones i've looked at are very practical in nature
but you will have to the one set by the AAT as it's a final level skills test

0 -
I'm thinking of doing Audit an extra exam
I have just completed my audit devolved week ago and i found that the most challenging. it ofcourse relate to the real life of work. I recommend to do Taxes, if you follow osbourne books as it looks so simpler than in the BPP books. I had problem with tax but had a book from osbourne books and completed in 2 weeks. i am ready for my tax exam. so if you can better do tax rather than audit.

Arjun0
