Hi!
I had a discussion with a fellow employee on Friday. Who is also sitting exams in June.
He has called the AAT, as he has sent off his registration for his exam, but they don't seem to have registered it yet.
So I called to check whether mine has been registered as I sent mine in on 9th March. And they couldn't find anything under my registration number.
Am I panicking or has everyone else got exactly the same problem???????

I received my entry confirmation about 10 days after I sent off my entry form, and most people at my college seem to have received their confirmations last week if not sooner. Have they cashed your cheque or taken the payment from your credit card yet? Did you get proof of posting, because unless you did you will probably have difficulty proving that you posted your entry in time and may have to pay the late entry fee.

Someone I go to college with received a call from AAT to say that they'd lost a load of payments or the system had crashed, some kind of error anyway. Apparently AAT were to contact all those students whose details had 'gone' to sort it out.

Hi! I contacted my college who was paying for me to sit the exams coming up in June, who told me that the cheque had not cleared the bank.
I contacted the AAT to inform them that the cheque had not cleared, so decided that I would pay the fees over the phone to ensure that I would be entered for the exam.
Then I received a telephone call from the AAT, later that day to inform me that the cheque and original exam entry form had been found. And I should hopefully receive the receipt fairly soon.
For those who have not received a receipt for the exam entries for June, please call the AAT to make sure that you have been entered. Which will save you a lot of disruption around exam time, as I know it will be stressful enough.
I sent away my exam entry last year, in plenty of time, but they hadn't received it, so I got charged £60. But after I explained what had happened, and kept the proof of posting, it got waived.
