Hi Rob

Why don't you look on ebay for Sage, a lot of people sell off older packages when they purchase the more up-to-date ones, you can pick up some real bargains and Sage is one of the most used packages.

Tracy0 -

sage
Hi Rob

Well currently Sage Line 50 is on version 11, although at one of the companies I work for we have version 8, the other company I work for has Sage Instant Accounts version 10, if all you want to do is learn the basics then an older package will do just fine, the newer ones have more reports, and costing etc built into them, theres a lot of stuff that may be totally un-necessary unless it's specific to the line of work you are in.

I've noticed Sage Instant Accounts V10 on there for £1 at the moment, it's still in its box, looks good to me!

All the best!

Tracy
0 -
sage
Sage instants is the cheaper of the Sage versions and sage version 8 is fine - there isn't an awful lot of difference it the more recent versions, but if you want to be up-to-date and be able to use the package after you have studies, try Sage instants - it's cheaper and just as good (unless you are doing stock control!)

If you want to Sage will send you a trial pack for 30 days to see if it is of any use.

Jo0
