Hello All<BR><BR>I am currently working for a Industry company and would like to diverse to a Accountancy Practice. I do not any A levels or degree, however I have my last 2 technician exams in June(fingers crossed!!!). My 3 questions is would it be advisble to follow this route?, how difficult would it be to go down this route at this stage?, and if it is possible, what actions should I take to pursue this change?<BR><BR>Many Thanks<BR><BR>Carlos

    Hi.<BR>I have been working in an accounting practice for nearly three years,but I used to work in industry.<BR>Do you have the foundation and intermediate levels completed?<BR>If so, I can not see why you can not go into practice from industry. As firms are willing to train people up, as long as your willing to study and work hard. <BR>But be prepared for a salary drop if you do transfer, as practice pays less than industry, until you have some experience and qualifications under your belt.<BR>Eventhough the money isn't good to start with, it soon increases as you pass exams and levels and I would never go back to working in industry.<BR>Good luck with whatever you do decide.
